Ceramic Flower Pendant — Size S / M
At first glance, the ceramic flower appears delicate, almost childlike. Yet beneath its soft form lies a deeper reflection on fragility, endurance, and the cyclical nature of life.
Flowers pierced by a bullet have become a recurring motif in Oleksandra’s work since russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Here, the classical floral form is interrupted by a mark of violence — a quiet reminder of how beauty and vulnerability coexist, especially in times of rupture.
Each piece is handmade and hand-painted in ceramic, making every flower unique in shape, color, and surface. The glaze captures light softly, emphasizing both the tenderness of the material and its resilience.
How to wear it
Wear it close to the heart as a pendant, either on the provided lace for a raw, intimate feel, or replace the lace with a fine chain to create a more minimalist, contemporary look. It pairs especially well with simple garments, allowing the piece to speak for itself.

ASSHA is the boundless creative realm of Oleksandra Plavinska, a Ukrainian ceramic artist from Odesa celebrated for her expressive, functional sculptures. Her ceramic napkin holders, matchboxes, vases, and flower holders—everyday objects—transform simple interactions into rich storytelling moments.
Originally trained as a theatre and film artist, Oleksandra began her journey with painting, launched her own upcycling brand, and ultimately found her true passion in ceramics. The ASSHA world is populated by haunting eyes and faces that invite viewers into their mysteries, alongside landscapes and florals that communicate through vibrant colors and evocative forms. Oleksandra’s work explores the interplay between the human spirit and the external world, infusing profound meaning into deceptively simple, utilitarian forms.
